The Association receives your payments and gifts either with a traditional check/money order or through our new on-line payment system. Using the latter, you can pay below either with credit card or ACH (see info on fees for this service).
Currently we are receiving payments or gifts for the following three funds:
- 2025-2026 FY Membership Dues --We voted to keep dues at $300 per household for this fiscal year (July 25-June 26). Many of you have already paid and we thank you for your promptness. Due to the major road work this fall, we will appreciate your payments as soon as possible.
- Mailboxes--In 2024, the Association installed a large number of mailboxes --the standard size cost approx. $25 each. In 2025, we've added 3 additional standard mailboxes which cost $30 each. Although we have not required payment for these from the users, we would appreciate any contributions you can make to offset these costs and help us continue to preserve and build our funds.
- Wahmeda Fund--This is a new opportunity to consider a charitable gift to our non-profit Association in memory or in honor of a loved one or simply to help us build our resources to make continued improvements of this very special place.
PAYING BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER: Make payable to "Wahmeda Inc." and note particular Fund. Mail to the Treasurer: Ruth Hamilton, 1218 Carrollsburg Place SW, Washington DC 20024
PAYING ON-LINE (see Fund links below): This website uses STRIPE, a third-party program from which we then transfer the funds to our Wahmeda Inc. bank account. For this convenience, STRIPE will add the following fees to your payment: The credit card processing fee is 2.9% plus $0.80(USD/CAD) with no max. For US Bank payments (ACH) the fee is 0.8% ($5 cap) plus $2.00 for max fee of $7.00.
